Stuff and nonsense

First off, I want to thank each of you that made a donation to the Susan G. Komen 3 Day, helping me get closer to my goal of $2200. Thank you so very much! If anyone wants me to add a name to my "Finish Line" t-shirt, leave a comment at this post so I don't forget! Today was a short day (7.1 mile) because Aunt Flo came early, and she is NOT welcome in my house, but I'll do the best I can to accommodate her. Starting with making my own salt licks. I would also like to ask my flist at large to come up with one solid, good reason why I should NOT have chicken fried steak for lunch. With mashed potatoes. And green beans. And a coke. Maybe some cheesecake. ONE GOOD REASON. That's what I thought. *calls up and places order*

TV: I was getting my son packed for Science camp (away camp, omg, we were both nervous but I think I played it cool - he was happy today...) so I missed lots of the two shows I wanted to watch. Friday Night Lights (what I saw I loved, I'm dl'ding to catch what I missed - that is EXACTLY how it is here, people) and Veronica Mars (omg LOGAN IS BUFF, ungh. Wallace! Mac! DICK, omg, Dick is such a MESS.) I missed the beginning, so I'm zipping my lip about ANYTHING until I can re-watch it in a half hour.

In conclusion, Archer Farms Buffalo Wing potato chips are making my mouth SO HAPPY. To the point where I may not need that chicken fried steak... Hmm. Definitely gonna need a coke. OH! Tonight is the Project Runway Reunion show!! What else? Isn't there something new coming on tonight? Is Wednesday night Supernatural night? I will neither confirm nor deny that I watched 2x01 and enjoyed it thoroughly and could get into it. (Are all the eps that good? Hmm.)

I WANT TO EAT ALL THE SALT IN THE WORLD, gah. *makes grabby hands* What movie is "these pretzels are making me thirsty!" from? Or is that a TV show? TV SHOW. What?? Anyone?

Pls put Charlie's name on your shirt. She's my pal who's survived BC twice.

Also, I screwed up on the scroll...sorry! (head::desk)

Whoa, Charlie!! *admires her strength!* I will be happy to do so. Would you reply to that other post so they're all together? I would hate to forget her name, is all. (My T-Shirt doesn't get here until next week, and I'm bad about handwritten lists, is all.)

HUGS TO YOU, PAT!

Hahaha! Isn't that great? It's available (I didn't make it) if you want to snag it. The credit info is on my userinfo page.

Man, I love that show. It's one I keep coming back to. Just enough teen soap drama to make me feel guilty, and clever enough dialogue to make me happy. :)

I am going to watch FNL tonight! There's an encore of the premiere (maybe that'll help if you don't feel like waiting out the dld?).

Also, for the names on your t-shirt -- gosh, I don't mean to be morbid, but can it be someone who has since passed away?

Oct. 4th, 2006 05:57 pm (UTC)
Oh, yay! I need to tell my dad so he can catch the rerun! Thanks! :D

And no, that's not morbid AT ALL. I've got friends who have since passed away that I'm walking in memory of, including Robin's and Sharon's moms. Would you mind leaving a comment on that post so I don't forget your friend's name? I'd be proud to have it on there, J. *hugs*

Season Premiere of Lost is on tonight....hmm. I was going to ask the same thing (about the passed away part) If you can, add Magaretta Halbhuber--she was my grandmother. And please don't ask... I have no idea what half-a-huber is. :) (loose translation of the last name-as I get asked all the time when I mention it)

Oh, I wish I hadn't fallen out of favor with Lost in Season 2. I've been told that I missed some good stuff... *adjusts Netflix queue* And I'd be happy to add your grandmother! Proud as punch. (Would you mind leaving a comment to the post I linked to above? That way I don't accidentally forget. It helps when I can have them all in one place.)

Thank you!! *hugs*

VM and FNL rocked my world.

So proud of you making your goal.

I know what you mean about the Salt Lick - I get that way too. Don't wave chocolate at me man, wave those fries, ketchup, and SALT

What I was able to see of both of those shows I LOVED. (Good lord, how hot is LOGAN. His ARMS!) <-- shameless.

I'm half-way to the goal, as of this morning's talley of cash raised at the kids' school. I can do it!! *sends out round three of emails*

SALT. I want salt. I want chocolate BEFORE. I want salt DURING. And cokes. *licks your neck*

Supernatural is that good if you like the urban legend stuff. Plus, the fact of two hot guys playing brothers *cough* It was an exceptionally good season premiere and I would be happy to point you in the direction of downloading the episodes if you are interested:)

Ha - Jensen went to my rival high school. Yeah - he never really did anything for me until I saw him skulking about the hospital in scrubs. Um, yum. But I liked the story and the supernatural element, so I can see myself tuning in!

And thanks for the hint re: dls. I've got them on torrentportal, so I'm good there. (If they turn out to be crappy quality, etc., I may hit you up!) THANK YOU!

Haven't watch VM yet, but I loved FNL. Tuesday nights are a nightmare for me and TV watching: NCIS, The Unit, Smith, VM, FNL, Nip/Tuck. Because of my timezone issues I have The Unit, VM, and N/T all on at the same time! WTF.

NBC is airing an encore of FNL tonight.

Oh yeah, and Supernatural is Thursday at 9 EST (after Smallville). If you're interested in seeing S1 I can lend you my DVDs. And then you can read my recent SPN fic that I consider some of my best writing ever. (I don't normally self-pimp, but I'm just so in love with this story.)

I heart Dick, TOO. I am at 92%, and this watched pot is not BOILING, omg. Dick has a HOT BOD. I do recall seeing him almost completely nekkid at the rally and being all sexified, yum.

WENDY'S. My second fave of the fast foods, Jack in teh Crack being the first. (Sourdough Jack, PERFEcTION. Minus the mayo, eww.)

Pumpkin! NUM. I have a recipe for it, but it's... complex. What makes yours all numtastic? *licks pencil tip*

THANK YOU FOR THE DONATION. Thank you thank you.

I had planned on asking you if I could add your mother's name to my shirt. I didn't want to presume! :D

STEAK. I ended up opting for a healthier (although less satisfying) choice of broccoli salad, but my lack of bloat will be the pay off. *can still button jeans today, thank goodness!*

I fell out of Lost, but I'm thinking if I watch the whole season in one swoop, I could get back the love. Thoughts? BONES. I'm not that interested in the show, but I do like flipping to see Dave. Mmmmmm.

HI ANNE! You'll be seeing me soon!! *gets busy cleaning and prepping, wheee!*

Aunt Flo's also visiting here. (That lady's just a world traveler.) And even though I'm a vegetarian that lunch sounds damn good since I too am also all about the salt.

If I can figure out how to manufacture salt-licks (like a garlic salt one, BBQ flavor one, etc.) you will get a metric ton of them as backup survival kits.

It's Seinfeld. Kramer's line in the fictional Woody Allen movie. I know I'm many comments late, but I don't read what other people say to you because it's just you and me baby. :D

OH YUM! Those potato chips you're talking about sound GOOD! We don't get those here. Have you ever tried Old Dutch's Ketchup chips? Probably not because they only make them in Western Canada. Also a big fan of the Miss Vickie's Chili and Sour Cream. Yum!

Wednesday is also America's Next Top Models. I know, I know. I like seeing those skinny, fugly bitches cry. I need to dl yesterday's Project Runway, but I can't find it. Waah. Guess what's on tonight? THE OFFICE!!!!!
stoney321
Oct. 5th, 2006 03:43 pm (UTC)
Oh, my Kako... *leans against you* I am SO TIRED, zomg. 13 miles today, and NO BREEZE. I am NOT watching America's Top Models. I'm not. But hah, I'd like to see them cry, too. BECAUSE I AM MEAN. Also, Project Runway was interesting and had some funny moments. Basically you'll hate Vincent all over again, and marvel at how beautiful Keith is, and how much of a pompous ass he is, too.

THE OFFICE AND THE ULTIMATE BETRAYAL!!!! I can NOT wait, wheeeeeee!

*hearts a million*

I just went through my friend's list and read you entries on walking and just want to say THANKS. It's amazing what you are doing, and I'm so glad that you are. I'm helping out/walking in Boston, and it's great to see so many people getting involved in a cause that is scarily becoming ignored. Good luck training and with the walk. I couldn't donate much, but again, thanks for doing this. It's really a great thing.

Oh, I'm so grateful for ANY donation, thank you so very very much! Today was a day that I was tired and wanted to quit, so reading this in my inbox is just what I needed.

And good for you for getting involved in Boston! This is one of the best experiences of my life, to be sure.

*hugs hugs hugs*

Are You Actually

Reading this? I'm just curious. Because that's really detail-oriented of you. Feel free to stop reading. But you can see that there's more here, so are you going to keep reading? Really? That's pretty dedicated. I'm impressed. No, really. I'm not being sarcastic, why do you get like that? See, this is the problem I have with your mother - yes. YES. I'm going there. It's time we put all of our cards on the table.

I love you, why are you doing this? After all we've been through? You don't have to be like this. You know, still reading. You could be baking a pie. And then sharing it with me.
