  • how they look
  • the sound of my wee water fountain
  • hummingbirds!! Drinking from my wee fountain!

  • and this (You Know My Name by Chris Cornell, because 1) he has one of the best voices in rock and 2) it makes me think of James Bond in his sexy tight baby blue swim trunks and OH MMY GOODNESS, that's a good thing to think about.)
  • upcoming visitors like entrenous88 this weekend and southernbangel next weekend!!
  • blue blue BLUE skies
  • my scale

  • the promise of a brand new day with no mistakes in it! [/Anne Shirley]

a ha ha ha ha. I think you should write a Johnny Depp/Johnny Depp pairing. Captain Jack meets Edward Scissorhands or something. Can't you just see Edward Scissorhands attempting ass play?

So ... you know I'm completely incapable of writing something, even something as inane as "See Spot run." without someone holding my hand? I got Fake Rake (yay!) and I'm at 2600ish words with no end in sight. Could you look at it and let me know if I need to real it in or keep going?

*elbows you* I can't write silly fic for this! Ahahaha. Actually, there's a fic like that somewhere...

I'm about to head out for my 7 mile, so when I'm back, I'm all over that!

You know, choosing between Ewan McGregor and Jack Davenport as protagonists doesn't make me as happy as you might suppose. Because, you know, there's *choosing* involved. But Ewan is my celebrity boyfriend (it does so count even if we've never met and we're both married to other people), so I had to go with him. Though further thought had me thinking perhaps I should've picked him as an antagonist...he's yummy when he's nasty. See: dilemmas, dilemmas.

But the picture saved the day 'cause damn that's funny. And thinking of Chris Cornell's voice, 'cause damn it's fantastic.

P.S. In the interest of quid pro quo on the happy, you must go check out this picure of Yul Brynner. Never in a million years did I imagine myself saying this, but here goes: damn, that man was hot.

I probably should have said POV instead of protagonist... And I LOOOOOOOVE Ewan mcGregor. Some of my best (imo) fics have been about him. I fully support an Ewan/Jack fic, as I don't know that I've ever come across that particular pairing!

Yul WAS hot, wasn't he?!

I AM SO HAPPY TOO!!! It was very weird going into work today all excited about the play, and not being able to share my excitement with anyone there because they just would. not. get it. Fandom squee makes me happy.

I am being unpredictable and casting my vote for JM/Gale Harold, because I keep longing for Spike/Brian Kinney fic, and no one is writing it. So I will ask for the next best thing!

You must send me photos of your cupboards! And your garden! *longs*

I would love to see you write some SPN;) but otherwise, I'll go with Hayden and Ewan.

Thanks for the Chris Cornell song. I forgot I wanted that one after I saw the movie. *downloads*

You're right-his voice is among the best. I've listened to him for years (obscene amounts of Soundgarden).

OMG, Soundgarden, Audioslave... YES. I love me some Chris Cornell.

I just have NO INTEREST in writing SPN. It's not because I look down on it, or anything like that, it's just... established. (And Jensen went to my rival high school, so I can't see him in that way, because I remember his natural voice, heh.)

HAYDEN AND EWAN, my OTP! *bliss*

I'm not a Marsters fan either (that... yeah. I'm not.) but how much fun would seeing him in a play - COMING OUT, no less - be? Especially with a group of awesome girls? SO. EXCITED.

Ahahahaha to your "Charlie Brown" maple tree! *sings Christmas songs next to it, after decorating with Snoopy's prize-winning ornaments* GIve it lots of compost and mulch to keep those roots fed and sheltered!

I am SO GLAD you are not able to turn your basement into a tourist trap called "Aquarius," although I'll miss helping you make a paper maiche submarine cum bar for Mai Tais...

I wish I could go to that play not so much to see JM but to see you all see JM. You're going to have such a blast; I'm so glad you're going.

Isn't it very nice weather we've been having? Down here anyway. And yay, Anne!

The weather is GORGEOUS. Friday was sketchy, but it's been beautiful ever since!

And you know, I missed out on the play I wanted to see more than anything, Slag Heap with VK, so there was no way I was missing this chance. (Because he'll be in the audience, right? Heee!)

It's ALWAYS an Anne day! :D

HiHiHI!!!! ZOMG TEN DAYS. Dying here, seriously dying here. I may never leave, just to warn you. So, uh, be ready.

Things making me happy today:

I saw "Mamma Mia" yesterday and I can't stop singing ABBA songs. Which is awesome because I love ABBA about as much as I love Air Supply. I may have a new crush on the actor who played Sam Carmichael. When he wore the spandex suit at the end? HEL-LO.

I am no longer bleeding like a stuck pig. My hoo-ha is no longer on notice.

It is absolutely *gorgeous* outside---blue skies with not a cloud in sight. I want to be outside. *plots*

Did I mention ten days? Okay, good.

My mom's birthday is this Thursday so I'm going to see them this weekend. Yay, parent time! AND she signed us up for a cooking class on Friday night so that should be funfunfun! For real.

OH MY GOD I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOU TO COME I MAY HAVE ALREADY STARTED COOKING AND PREPARING DRINKS, ZOMG.

How great was Mama Mia?! Did you have fun? More importantly: DID YOU SING ALONG?

I'm so glad your haunahauna isn't leaking your womanly essence any more! You know that's a punishment, right? Go make me a sammich, woman.

Oh my GOODNESS tell me all about this cooking class! (Question: should I make a banana pudding when you come? Or Texas Sheet cake? Discuss!)

what does your wee water fountain look like? I adore fountains, love to watch the water drizze down.

can I ask you a gardening question? I know zilch about gardening so the plants in the planters box on the side of my house have died. I've lived here 3 years now so I guess thats pretty good. Can you recommend a plant(s) that I could put in place of the dead plants that don't need a lot of maintenance besides the regular rain baths they get? because I hardly ever remember to water them :D
stoney321
Apr. 16th, 2007 11:34 pm (UTC)
Well, I'll need to know where you are, what direction the planters face, and then I can give you a rundown of plants, gladly!

Are You Actually

Reading this? I'm just curious. Because that's really detail-oriented of you. Feel free to stop reading. But you can see that there's more here, so are you going to keep reading? Really? That's pretty dedicated. I'm impressed. No, really. I'm not being sarcastic, why do you get like that? See, this is the problem I have with your mother - yes. YES. I'm going there. It's time we put all of our cards on the table.

I love you, why are you doing this? After all we've been through? You don't have to be like this. You know, still reading. You could be baking a pie. And then sharing it with me.
