Aw, crap. And GIP, to make it better.

CRAP. I've had it loosely planned that Mr. S and I were going to Vancouver on July 21 - 24, to hook up with mskakaako and husband, and to see marlo (one of my first LJ friends) and paynbow. He has to be in NYC that weekend for a business meeting. Maybe I could go by myself? No. We can't use his points for international travel without using up a TON, which means no San Fransisco in September, and come hell or high water, I'm there, man. So. SHIT! MsKaka and I had plans, yo! Sushi! Gardens! Tours! *cries* There was to be lunch with Heather! (I haven't returned your email because I've been HOPING to make it work out. It won't.)

So. Since my vacation is screwed, Mr. S is taking me to NYC with him so I can have SOME kind of adult break, which is YAY! But not, you know... the original plan. So entrenous88? We are staying in Times Square at the W - wanna hook up on Saturday for dinner? Love to meet you...

To make it better, I've made an icon. BOW TO IT'S GREATNESS! My teknikuhl skilz is ON. Now I can give people glitter ponies and not be a liar.

Got tagged for who I'd shag rotten I'm attracted to:

2. Cillian Murphy
3. Jim Carrey (shut up. I've loved him since Vera DeMilo. Funny is sexy.)
4. Scarlett Johansen (I'd watch her on screen watching paint dry.)
5. Jude Law (the man who inspired me to creat Man Pants™, back in the day of Mr. Ripley)
6. Selma Hayek (My LORD. Good. Fucking. God. The striptease in From Dawn 'Til Dusk.)
7. Jason Bateman (oh, my FIRST poster on my wall. The smart asshole on Silver Spoons. HEEEE!)
8. Vince Vaughn (remember: funny is my sexy. Oh, and smart-ass and cocky and full of themselves and... guh.)
9. Hayden Christensen (I like gentle boys. Because they never are. Mmmmm.)
10. Joan Chen ( I STILL think of that scene from Twin Peaks where she demands the sherrif to rip her expensive silk nightie off. Wow. She's perfection.)

And this is just what I can think of on the fly. I haven't included my freakish obsession with half of the cast of Montey Python from the early 70s - Eric Idle. GUH. Funny=sexy. Or Steve Martin, circa 1988ish. Or specific scenes from TV shows with a certain blonde vampire. Or a dark and broody (and naked) vampire. Or Val Kilmer from his Top Gun days. *asplodes*

Here's all you need to know about me: I love bodies. And brains. And smart mouths. Oh, fuck... the smart mouths.... COCKY in all respects. Heh. I'm rambling. I'll go away for a bit.

ETA: WAIT! I lied. I have to finish my boss me tasks, so I'll have a phone post for poshcat later today featuring my best impressions. Isn't that so exciting you need to PEE!! Ewww. That's gross.

Well, um, I didn't want to sound OBSESSIVE. Hee!! I think I may the only person who found Ewan frickin' sexy in Trainspotting, all sweaty and under the throes of the DTs. And Jonny! (Lee Miller.) Mmm. I love boys. I shouldn't have to pick.

Hee!! Austin used to play with his sister's dress up clothes and loves how makeup brushes feel on his skin. Ha ha!!
Jun. 25th, 2005 05:19 pm (UTC)
Totally, totally sexy in trainspotting. Totally.
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:23 am (UTC)
Jason Bateman! Squee! But I can't think of Scarlett Johanssen without that ghastly green dress she wore to the Oscars a while back. Silly Scarlett.
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:01 am (UTC)
The Hogan Family!

And I seem to have no problem invisioning Scarlett without that dress. At all. Or wearing anything. She's just lovely.
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:29 am (UTC)
Have to back you up on Eric Idle.
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:02 am (UTC)
I know, right? He was like... Robert Plant hot back in the day. That HAIR! Mmmm. Sexy, smart, funny... what's not to love?
Jun. 25th, 2005 10:54 am (UTC)
Mmm. Robert Plant....
.....Marc Bolan....
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:43 am (UTC)
You icon is skeery. It kicked my equinophobia into gear.

Jim Carrey is very pretty when he's not acting, y'know, like in interviews and stuff.
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:04 am (UTC)
Poor, poor you for not loving the horsies. Heh.

Jim Carrey fits my perfect body mold: tall (over 6' 3"), lanky, ropey forearm muscles, broad, broad shoulders, floppy, dark hair...

I just outlined almost every boyfriend I've ever had. Mr. Stoney is one of the shorter men I've dated, and he's 6'!
Jun. 25th, 2005 10:03 am (UTC)
I have a 6' minimum requirement for anyone applying to date me. I mean in heels I'm 5'11-ish. If you weren't married we could go stalk basketball players together.

The last time Jim was on Oprah (I think for Spotless Mind) I fell in LUST with the man. I think he's one of those 'better as he ages' types.
Jun. 25th, 2005 11:39 am (UTC)
Mmm. Tall and funny and fucked up and floppy limbed. PERFECTION.

OMG I totally forgot about Val Kilmer. The Doors! *thud*
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:04 am (UTC)
Or from Top Secret!! Val as Elivs! *swoon*
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:50 am (UTC)
Oh, baby POA!

Boo on the Vancouver cancellation; I was fantasizing excuses/means to get me up there to meet you and also visit the NA chairman of the Heritage Rose Section (who teaches at Simon Fraser). And eat Goanese food, which is not available on this side of the line.

We shall have to make plans for a Stoney State Visit and grand ceremonial progress through Oregon, Washington and BC.

Julia, thought of you twice yesterday; once because of my friend Joanne's collection of sedums for sale and once because the local allowance eating store had gummy penii, boobs, and butts
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:05 am (UTC)
Sedums! I loves them. When I posted that I was mad, that was a part of it, but I kept hoping we could change things around. I'm SERIOUSLY bummed about not being able to see my friends up there.

I fully support a State Visit! Can I put streamers on my car?

GUMMY PENII? Bwah haha!
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:56 am (UTC)
Hee! Awww....love you, love your list - ya got taste, girlfriend (although I already knew that:) - love your ponies. I mean I REALLY love your ponies;)
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:07 am (UTC)
Ponies!! CAKE pony. A horsie made of sweet confection!! Glitter pony! That's from the "Dallas Soars" exhibit. Those were fun.

BOYS!!! Fuck, I love men. Some women, too, but mostly? Men. EVERYTHING about them. Love. Them.

'S a fair cop. He's pretty. AND FUNNY. Funny always wins with me, followed by cocky sarcasm and smart-assedness. Mmmm. My favorite things in a man.

Mpreg! Stopped working on it to do a hundred things, but I plan on having it wrapped up by Sunday night. Wanna look over it?

Gonna finish the clean up from painting (needed Mr. S to help me catch the top of the walls) and then maybe a movie? Maybe somptin? Not sure. We're going to a picnic at the beach club pool tomorrow with friends, so no pool today. My ass will turn into fish scales.

You know how I feel about Ewan and Hayden, but: Jim Carrey, Selma Hayek, Jude Law, Vince Vaughn - ROCK THE FUCK ON SISTAH!
Jun. 25th, 2005 06:05 pm (UTC)
I do *not* know how you feel about Ewan and Hayden! Tell me. In langurious detail.....
Jun. 25th, 2005 06:38 pm (UTC)
Hee. They R teh hawt.

Loved Ewan in Trainspotting, fell in love with him right there. SCOTTISH! He won me at "We, on the other hand, were colonized by wankers!" And then Velvet Goldmine, and gaying all over the screen with Jonathan Rhys Myers. And and and and BIG FISH! OMG!!! I was all aflutter over seeing that movie and it did not disappoint. Daffodils! And I loved Moulin Rouge just for our darling Ewan in a tux. Singing! With John Leguizamo! *heart* Nothing's better than Ewan in love. I'm watching Long Way Round, which is Ewan and his friend Charlie on motorcycles, going around the world. It's SO MUCH FUN, and Ewan gets hurt and surprised a lot, which is great. Poor Ewan! *moms him*

And as for Hayden, I actually haven't seen him in anything but Star Wars. I did, however, see the previews for Life As A House, and I was ALL into seeing that, for him alone. And then there's the gay rumors and the BABY!VADER and... just, mmm. SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

For Ewan to discover. *nodnod*
Jun. 26th, 2005 05:51 am (UTC)
MMM.. And Ewan as a Scots down on his luck in Chicago on ER, bonding with Julianna Marguiles, but DYING anyway, and a Chelsea haircut... I LOVED Long Way Around. (Did you know they are gearing up to go from Scotland to Cape Town? Wheeee!)

Check out Shattered Glass for a touch of Hayden love. That has one of my favorite young actors out there, Peter Saarsgard. He's phenomenal.
Jun. 26th, 2005 10:49 am (UTC)
I know Peter, I do, I do! Most recently loved him in Kinsey, which if you have not seen, you SO SHOULD. Peter Sarsgaard/Liam Neeson! In canon! ON SCREEN! *twirl*
Jun. 25th, 2005 05:48 pm (UTC)

Say it ain't so. *cries*

It's gorgeous out today. It was Kits Days today. I walked out there and it was BEEEEEEYOOOOTIFUL!!!! I was imagining us walking hand in hand, lalalala, down the sidewalk. POOOOOOOP.

I guess re-scheduling is out of the question?

Too bad you can't be in New York next week. That's when I'm there. Oh well.

Heh. Vero DeMilo was FREAKY, dude! Yes, yes, yes to #7 and 8. Mmmmm. And I totally remember when Josie asked Harry to rip her black negligee off. I was just a kid, but I knew that was kinda sexay. Heee.

Oh, and I'm still sad. Poop.

Jun. 25th, 2005 05:49 pm (UTC)
I don't know why the font's so big.

Jun. 25th, 2005 06:07 pm (UTC)
OMG, the Sad Bluth icon is totally warranted. I was SO UPSET. You know that I wanted to hug and squeeze you and play and see Vancouver through your eyes and be edjumacated on the BEST sushi ever from you and talk with your husband, and sit back and watch your husband and mine become BFF and talk finance and crap and then eat coffee crisps, and bring you baby things (because you never know) and....

Oh, C, I was SO upset. So, so sad to not hug my kako.

Either fall or spring next year. WAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:44 pm (UTC)
::cries:: ;_; That's too bad! I was really looking forward to seeing you! Well, NYC is fun, too. :) ONE DAY you must come up here, though!!!

::drools thinking about Josie from Twin Peaks, YUM::
Jun. 26th, 2005 05:52 am (UTC)
I KNOW!! Oh, Mar, I was so bummed. I was getting excited to see you and meet Tor, go shopping in the cool Japanese section of town that you go on about, hear about the details of the upcoming China trip...

And Josie. Rowr. (I think she stared in a lame lesbian movie with Ellen's psycho ex.)
Jun. 26th, 2005 01:41 am (UTC)
I've had them all. They were great. They wept when I left though and were never the same ever again.

But on exciting news:

I'm just clutching my heart because my bank balance just disappeared and a shiny, shiny ticket just arrived in my email. Weeeee! So anyway, no pressure at all about coming along, it would be fab but I'm not laying on a guilt trip if situations pop up and you can't. But come along anyway! :D

The trips for getting in on the 30th September and flying back out on the 7th - so if you want to pop up for any of that - eeeeee!, I say! We can talk for hours about my snail collection and my persistent nasal drip and I can stare at the table and speak in a monotone and tear my napkin into tiny pieces, it'll be a blast!
Jun. 26th, 2005 05:55 am (UTC)
SNAILS!!! SNOT!!! OMG, this is going to be the best trip EVER.

Wheee!! I'll fly in early morning to SF on the 30th, get a car, check in to the lovehotel. If you land about the same time as I get my ticket, I'll pick you up? Remember: I get a free hotel room while I'm there, so you aren't paying for it on Friday night or Saturday night! I'll have to fly back Sunday afternoon (kids will be in school- um, let me look at their schedule. Maybe I could stay an extra day. Is that icky of me to say?)

And the hotel is right at the ocean. Well, across the street from it. And walking distance to a chocolate factory. I'm not making that up.

Jun. 26th, 2005 08:48 am (UTC)
I await your phonepost on shaky legs. Hee.

I remember trying to contain my lust when I watched Trainspotting. I had no idea who that guy was, but he totally burned up the screen...and my panties, come to think of it.

And just by total coincidence, I watched Intermission Friday night and saw Cillian for the first time ever! He's too pretty boy for me, but he did stand out like mad.

I was just speculating in my head why I love Vince so much. He was in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and I'd much rather a)go out for a beer b)have sex with c)marry Vince than Brad.

Jim Carrey, Jude, Jason. Love them. The young skinny boys and women? Not so much. They're all yours! ::gets popcorn and watches you with them::
Jun. 26th, 2005 09:03 am (UTC)
Hee, ponies! Must...bake...pony...cake! *twitches*
Jun. 27th, 2005 12:37 pm (UTC)
Ah nertz! I so wanted to see you then! *wibbles* You could, like, drive to Vancouver from Seattle...it's in no way inconvenient!

Drat! Drat, drat, drat!
Jun. 28th, 2005 07:37 pm (UTC)
Ahh the lovely Ms. Hayek. I own the Dogma dvd just to see her strip to Candy Girl, in that little catholic school girl outfit. I think it's something aboyt girls stripping on film (except Liz Berkley) Closer made me love Natalie Portman. Cillian the eyes OMG. Hayden only made nine, suprise, but I agree you know underneath there's a little something that probably bad for you. Kinda why I like Edward Norton. And Ewan I love Ewan I once had a film GA (male) who saw Pillowbook and waxed poetic about Ewan's assests for half the class, the man is exquisite, and always in my top 2. Think I'll put on Trainspotting now.
P.S.It's nice to know I'm not the only one who liked Derek (JB) on Silver Spoons. Do you remember It's your move?

Are You Actually

Reading this? I'm just curious. Because that's really detail-oriented of you. Feel free to stop reading. But you can see that there's more here, so are you going to keep reading? Really? That's pretty dedicated. I'm impressed. No, really. I'm not being sarcastic, why do you get like that? See, this is the problem I have with your mother - yes. YES. I'm going there. It's time we put all of our cards on the table.

I love you, why are you doing this? After all we've been through? You don't have to be like this. You know, still reading. You could be baking a pie. And then sharing it with me.
