Hee! How much tequila have you had?

One of the lovely gals I met at the Bead retreat works in Big Pharma. So interesting, the things I learned! Also, my new guy works in a new Pharma company, I was going to buy stock, but he stopped calling, so ppffffffttttt. I will not. That'll show him.

I love that new auto ad, is it Chrysler, that mocks drug ads?

Must Drink Beer Now.

I still have a bottle (empty) of the Milagro you gave me sitting on my kitchen bench for decoration purposes.

It's a vague worry that my idea of decorating my house is with booze bottles, but each to their own. *hic*

That's, honestly, insane.

I mean, I do remember getting substantial amounts of homework by about third grade. But it was so *very* much on my own. I think the teachers either expect parents to help now, or if they don't, it's hard for those kids who don't get the help because all their peers are getting it.

Whereas it was just me and my multiplication tables back in the day. :D

The Boy: Accelerated math, one hour. This is flash cards, me quizzing him, etc. History: me supervising on Google while he looks up things. Geography: me quizzing him on a blank map and also quizzing him on capitals.

#2: building a model of the water cycle, also quizzing on geography (they're both competing in a Geography Bee), help explaining transpiration/evaporation/condensation.

Emily: making a Me Tree - I write the words she tells me, then I supervise cutting out pictures and OH GOD ENOUGH.

ENOUGH. I want to be DONE with school. *points to diplomas on the wall*

Totally unrealted to your post, but I wanted to tell you something.

Not sure if you read my post in my journal or not, but I was watching SPN ep 1x18 - Something Wicked, and there was this kid in it. I swear to you, he looks so much like you, I would have thought he was your's if I didn't know better.

(primarily because if your son were acting and pulling down that kinda money, we'd have heard about it by now)

It was just freaky man, wow, freaky.
