Dear People Driving To Work/Jail/Satan/Your Mother's:

I hope that when you saw me catch my heel on a crack in the pavement on my jog today, and how I masterfully turned that into me doing the Roger Rabbit, laughing, and then dusted my shoulders off and kept going, that you laughed.

Because god knows I'm still laughing at myself.
Signed, the idiot on the main thoroughfare.

P.S. You're welcome for not shooting finger guns at everyone in my need to tamp down my humiliation.

ION, Ringer had its finale earlier, and our lovely recapper Janey Ford has her take on it up at HDJM.

Lastly, there is a story I really wish you all would read. It's Glee, but don't let that deter you, the vast majority of my flist. It's about race, perception-passing, being bi-racial and does that mean you're enough of an ethnicity or not at all... And it's just beautiful. There are no slurs used, because the writer is clever enough to make you think without blindsiding you by using the actual ugly words, which I wish more people would be sensitive enough to do, as well.

BENEATH THE SURFACE is one of those stories that's just important and beautiful and thoughtful. Let her know how special this is, would you?

I need mass quantities of food in my face right this minute. TO THE TACO TRUCK!

They are all over my neighborhood right now - but they're old school taco trucks, not the fancy ones. (Translation: cheap and TASTY nom nom!)

You are just the best. <3

I look forward to telling you that in person again next week. :D

HOORAY!! And same here, but more of it. ;)

Why is there never a taco truck in my neighborhood or on my walk or at my favorite brewpub that doesn't do food? All we get are hoity-toity trucks with the likes of wild boar (see: feral hog) sloppy joes and pork cheek tacos. Okay, they were both damn good. I'll stop whining.

wild boar aka feral hog is about the only red meat we've been eating here in Casa de Stoney. I want some BARBACOA. NOM NOM.

I bet your tacos were good! (I just bet mine were cheaper, lol. 2 for $1 and they don't skimp on the meat, either! NOM. Y salsa verde = SOY FELIZ!)

omg, it is so nice outside and I want to make a pitcher of margaritas and jump in the pool...

The tacos were $4 each. For a bar snack that's not bad, but I could really go for some 2 for $1 taco action once in a while.

It is glorious outside! I am actually considering going on another walk before I wash off the sunblock. Margarita and the porch swing sounds pretty enticing, too!

Are You Actually

Reading this? I'm just curious. Because that's really detail-oriented of you. Feel free to stop reading. But you can see that there's more here, so are you going to keep reading? Really? That's pretty dedicated. I'm impressed. No, really. I'm not being sarcastic, why do you get like that? See, this is the problem I have with your mother - yes. YES. I'm going there. It's time we put all of our cards on the table.

I love you, why are you doing this? After all we've been through? You don't have to be like this. You know, still reading. You could be baking a pie. And then sharing it with me.
